Lines

Initially the company was founded by Arthur Edwin Lines in 1909 as Pedigree & Westline in Tottenham. After the war (WI) he joined his brothers and was name of the company Lines Brothers Limited.
Lines Brothers Limited was founded in London in 1919 by the three brothers William, Arthur and Walter Lines, the sons of Joseph Lines, itself a toy manufacturer.

Tri-Ang

Doing business, mainly under the name Tri-ang toys, the company grew into one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world, with offices in a number of countries, including France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, as well as a number of factories in Britain, particularly in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales and Merton, South London. Arthur Lines died in 1963.
Lines Brothers Limited ceased its commercial activities in 1971 and the assets were sold to a range of other companies.
